McGill University and Freie Universität Team Up

New Agreement to Boost Montreal-Berlin Research Cooperation in Disorders of Brain Function

McGill University and Freie Universität Berlin have formally moved to enhance their research collaboration through a cooperation agreement that includes the exchange of faculty, staff, and students, as well as joint research activities and publications.

The agreement was signed yesterday in Berlin by Dr. Rose Goldstein, Vice-Principal (Research and International Relations) of McGill University, and Prof. Peter-André Alt, President of Freie Universität Berlin. Led by Prof. Gerhard Multhaup, Chair of McGill’s Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, and Profs. Rainer Müller and Rainer Haag from Freie Universität’s Department of Biology, Chemistry, and Pharmacy, the research collaboration will initially focus on disorders of brain function.
